Qatar - with their vast abundance of oil wealth and associated greenback parade of never ending cash flow - has elected to outsource 10,000 rabid cheering vietnamese fans to cheer for the Qatar football team when they compete this summer at the Asian Cup matches in Hanoi. I love it! Absolutely a brilliant idea! Why don't we take some of the Haliburtan oil money we are scraping over in Iraq - and hire like a stand in *home* team crowd for the good ole USA while we are over there getting our asses kicked in the fight over hearts and minds and all of that good stuff. This way - we sort of feed into the whole social proof thing - like - street loads of local Iraqi's singing the star spangle banner and stuff - and maybe even putting on some of the red white and blue - and who knows - maybe an end to all of the needless death, decay and destruction?
