I've read this story a few times and I still have absolutely no idea what it means. I'm not sure if gaydar is a real device, or just something that always gives me a little kick in the ass everytime I visit Greenwich Village. No pun intended. Anyway - this dude could be, or could not be holding a little gaydar in his right hand. I still haven't decided. You can make your own mind up by visiting the link at the site below:
Not content with revolutionising internet dating, Gaydar.co.uk has now decided to broaden their horizons and offer instant access to your web-based profile via your mobile handset. Which means you can now be online, even when you’re offline - it's Gaydar on the go!But what does this mean in real terms for members of the site – and will it allow us to meet more guys? We asked two users of the new GaydarMobile service to tell us what they think.Tony GreenI have never really used my mobile for surfing the net before now. My handset is capable of doing it (apparently) but as long as I can get texts and can make and receive calls, my phone serves its intended purpose. The thought of using my phone to cruise on Gaydar was slightly odd at first. It’s not that I’m a prude - I’ve had a profile for years and use the site regularly – it was just different. But then I thought, ‘Why not use my mobile, if it’s available?’I’m already familiar with the concept of the site and the functions that are available online so the log in screen and basic search functions came as no surprise. Search, friends and favourites, sex factor, message centre and my account details are all listed on the first page.
